Codie is an enthusiastic and passionate Myotherapist, driven by a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for everyday individuals. She thrives on combining problem-solving skills, empathy, and critical thinking to support people on their journeys to better health.

With a diverse clientele ranging from pregnant women to athletes and the general population, Codie has developed special interests in chronic pain management, headaches/migraines, foot pain and dysfunction and neural conditions. Her true joy comes from working with everyday individuals, helping them improve their quality of life and achieve their health goals.

Codie’s consistent interest in health lead her to study Myotherapy, allowing her to combine her interests in health care, science and problem solving. She now utilises her knowledge of the human body and various techniques to reduce pain, enhance function, and elevate quality of life.

Anita Bowen

ACUPUNCTURIST

BHSc. AHPRA Registered.

Anita was introduced to Acupuncture from a friend's recommendation. It wasn't long before she was seeing improvement from a sporting injury as a teenager that had caused her decades of chronic back pain. After discovering how effective this therapy had been for her healing, she completed her undergraduate degree with Endeavour College of Natural Health to help others living with pain and limited function.

Anita is now turning her attention to sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions by assessing, diagnosing, and treating using motor point acupuncture, dry needling, trigger point therapy, electro stimulation, neurofunctional acupuncture, cupping, IASTM, and injury prevention tailored to each specific patient.

REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST

At Femina Integrated Health, Elana combines hands-on care with evidence-based therapies to help you heal, move freely, and feel your best. Whether recovering from surgery or seeking overall wellbeing, she's here to guide you every step of the way.

Offering: 

  • Remedial massage (dry needling, cupping), pregnancy massage- manual lymphatic drainage- low laser therapy (pain and inflammation management of injuries and scars).

Claire Lever

ACCREDITED PRACTICING DIETITIAN

Claire is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian practicing in collaboration with the allied health team at Habitual. Claire looks forward to working on your "End Game" together, that is, the goals that you have set together. 

Whether those goals are learning how to eat for health to better your immune system, or how to build your muscle following an unintentional weight loss due to illness. Whether that goal is to manage your diabetes or your food allergies, or whether that goal is to lose some weight so that you can improve your quality of life.

With Claire's help, you will be able to make small, incremental behavioural changes that will ultimately lead to a change in your lifestyle altogether. Which means those goals will not only be achieved, but they’ll be maintained for years to come.

Lizzie Gralton

ACCREDITED DIETICIAN & PROVISIONAL SPORTS DIETICIAN

At Finding Your Balance Dietetics Clinic, Lizzie takes a holistic approach to nutrition, considering all aspects of health and treating each client as unique and an "expert in their own body." With this approach, you can expect a supportive, non-judgmental environment where Lizzie aims to truly understand your challenges and goals to guide you on your health journey.

Lizzie also has a special interest in women’s health, IBS management, gut health, and fostering positive relationships with food. She recognises that all areas of life—social, emotional, and physical—are interconnected, and each influences how our body functions, digests, and metabolises food. With this in mind, Lizzie will ask thoughtful questions beyond just “food” to better understand the whole picture of your well-being.

Lizzie invites you to book a 1:1 nutrition consultation to discover your balance with food and nutrition. Her mission is to debunk the false and toxic myths around nutrition, making it easier to understand and embrace. Jo Knight

Jo subscribes to the importance of preventative health, defining wellness as optimal quality of life as well as the absence of illness.

She uses a holistic approach that incorporates both traditional and evidence-based methods to address health concerns. Your health history is meticulously investigated, relevant testing completed and pathology reviewed which is an ideal combination to determine the root cause of what you are experiencing.

Jo has the proficiency to address a broad spectrum of wellness concerns, but her specific areas of interest include: Post-Viral Health, Cold and Flu, Low Mood, Sleep Disturbances, Gastrointestinal infections, Cardiovascular risk factors & Men’s health. Herbal tinctures are also available for dispensing.

Jo also has experience as an educational researcher and writer therefore enjoys packaging beneficial information in order to educate her patients and the community.

Haritha Jonnalagadda

SOMATIC PSYCHOTHERAPIST

ACA Level 4, Master of Counselling, Master Functional Trainer, Movement Restoration Coach & R.E.H.A.B Trainer

Haritha is a Somatic Psychotherapist trained in Trauma Therapy, Somatic Movement & Functional Fitness. Haritha understands the role of the nervous system in recovering from trauma & chronic pain and supports adults to find safety & embodiment in their body, regulate their nervous system and heal from the impacts of trauma.

Using a blend of trauma-informed therapies as well as body and movement-based modalities, she works with clients experiencing: Developmental and Attachment, Trauma/Complex Trauma, Trauma related dissociation, Depression & Anxiety, Chronic Stress & Chronic Pain, Emotional & Somatic Pains, Joint/Muscular Pains & Post Injury or Surgery related, Repetitive Injuries, Chronic Health Conditions, Poor relationship with movement & body, Postural Issues & Pain, Functional Movement restrictions.

Alanah Reilly

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)

Alanah Reilly (nee Dobinson) (she/her) is an  Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), clinical supervisor, and the founder and director of Autonomy in  Movement.

From her past as a "gym bro" to her current mission, she's dedicated to fostering positive relationships with movement. Through her work, she supports diverse communities, including those with eating disorders, trauma survivors, and individuals in bigger bodies. Alanah's approach is rooted in social justice, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices.

She's trained in various therapies and is a respected voice in the field, contributing to international guidelines and conferences. Alanah is also a cofounder of Safe Exercise at Every Stage and leads Movement My Way classes for those in bigger bodies.

Sue James  

KINESIOLOGIST & SPINAL ENERGETICS

Sue believes that a persons current state of health; physically energetically, emotionally and spiritually is a direct result of their past experiences. Just as “we are what we eat”, we are what we experience in our lives.  Sue uses kinesiology techniques to identify, and correct imbalance in the structural, chemical, mental and emotional energy systems of the body. These imbalances inevitably cause a variety of issues. 

Kinesiology finds the root cause of the issue, clears the energetic blocks, causing the symptoms, thus promoting self healing and wellbeing.

Anna Dekaney

PSYCHOLOGIST

BPsych (Hons)

Anna is a registered psychologist with 3 years of experience in private practice. Her expertise spans a wide range of clinical presentations, with a strong focus on treating sleep disorders. She's also highly skilled in addressing eating and adjustment disorders, emphasising the importance of nutrition, sleep, and movement in her practice.

Anna, an active age-group triathlete in both short-course and endurance events, draws inspiration from her sports involvement. This firsthand experience informs her 'strength-based' approach in sessions, aiming to help clients reach their physical and mental potential, instilling purpose along the way.

Anna rejects the stereotypical "cold and clinical" psychologist image. She values genuine, authentic relationships with clients, creating a positive and safe atmosphere for open and honest communication.

Cody Potter

PSYCHOLOGIST

Cody provides assessment, therapy, and parenting advice for issues like anxiety, depression, challenging behaviors, social skills, sleep, trauma, and school-related concerns. She specializes in cognitive, educational, and Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments. With experience in both private and public health services, including the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Cody has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families.

Holding a PhD and a Masters in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Melbourne, Cody is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She combines evidence-based practice with a warm, engaging approach tailored to young people's developmental needs, empowering them to celebrate their differences and overcome challenges, often with the help of her sidekick, Boomer.

Trudy Cadoo

Trudy is the founder of Wellness for Women Clinic, she is a Brisbane based Naturopath, Nutritionist and Herbalist. Trudy has a passion for being kept updated with the latest science and is driven by helping busy, professional women find their balance and be rewarded with good health. Working systematically and closely with each client, Trudy gets to know them and their lives, lifestyle and habits in order to uncover underlying health issues. Utilising a range of tools, including functional testing to reveal systemic imbalances, Trudy formulates dietary and lifestyle programs tailored to each client’s needs supported by targeted, high-quality herbal and nutritional supplementation.

Gemma

PODIATRIST

Gemma graduated with an Honours degree in Podiatric Medicine from the National University of Ireland, Galway, in 2017 and has worked in private practice since. As the lead podiatrist for the Queensland Ballet over the past four years, she has become an expert in skin and nail care, with patients traveling far and wide for her effective treatments for ingrown toenails and corns.

She also spent four years as a senior podiatrist in a musculoskeletal clinic, gaining expertise in sports medicine, neuromuscular, and pediatric care. Gemma uses advanced techniques, including 3D-printed orthotics, ankle foot orthotics, and exercise prescriptions, to deliver optimal results.

An advocate for podiatry, Gemma has spoken on Irish national radio, presented to physiotherapy teams, and cared for athletes during the 2018 Special Olympics Ireland. She is passionate about keeping patients active during recovery and works closely with trusted healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Sharon's journey with the Habitual began in mid-2022 when she joined forces with Georgia. Fuelled by her passion for aiding others and her dedication to fitness and well-being, Sharon played a pivotal role in nurturing the growth of the Habitual Health Collective. Her love for running not only keeps her fit but also serves as a platform for fostering friendships and community bonds. Sharon finds joy in combining her runs with plentiful conversation, cherishing the moments spent with her loved ones and extending warm welcomes to newcomers.

Annie Brown

Annie's curiosity in health and wellness started at a young age, where small things like enjoying organic fruit and veg from her grandmother's garden, playing outdoor in nature for hours on end, and feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin, piqued her interest in the natural world around her and how it influences the way we feel.

Fast forward to today, and Annie's interest in a holistic approach to wellbeing has flourished, having completed a 350hr yoga teacher training and going on to become a qualified practitioner in Ayurveda.

Annie is also a marketing specialist, with a particular interest in helping small wellness-base businesses to grow and flourish.An ex-fashion stylist, Annie has embraced slow fashion and also LOVES to op-shop! You can find her most weekends happily pottering around thrift stores, and will tell everyone and anyone all about it.
